A slide moves along a vertically ordered rail (total height ca. 7m). An electrical servo motor with cogged-belt drive embosses speed and accelaration details. The slide can be moved to the start position (topmost position) automatically. The crash tests / head-on crash tests will be carried out completely automatically. The slide is decelerated during the crash test by corresponding shock absorbers.
The test facility is parametrized flexibly.
The test facility can be converted for head-on crash tests.
The test facility has a SPS for the control of the test procedure with NC-axis and a PC for the documentation of measurement data and the evaluation.
